About Stag & Grain
Two old friends. Two skilled trades. One shared obsession.
Stag & Grain brings together the hands of a master carpenter and the eye of an experienced decorator. The idea is simple: good furniture deserves better than being discarded.
Why Stag & Grain
Meet David & Gerard.
Stag & Grain is a South Wales furniture restoration business built around two people who know their craft.
David has a natural eye for restoration, backed by a wealth of experience bringing tired and forgotten furniture back to life while retaining the character that made it worth saving.
Gerard brings years of experience as a decorator and wood specialist, with the practical knowledge, patience and attention to detail needed to get every finish right.
Together, they restore each piece by hand — combining experience, craftsmanship and a genuine appreciation for well-made furniture.
